Meet Tanna as she welcomes a new class of kindergarten students on their very first day of school.
Tanna tells the story of adopting the human baby Archibald Kringle, who possessed an inexplicable intelligence and memory that allowed him to "read" back a book word-for-word at the age of three.
Despite struggling with required dance classes and feeling awkward around the girl he likes, Archibald is chosen by Arlene as her dance partner, compelling his mother, Tanna, to teach him how to dance at home.
"The dance ended, and Archibald turned to talk to Arlene. He began to talk and tell her just how sorry he was for everything he had put her through. He went on to explain how he understood why she would never want to be with him as he had been nothing short of horrible in the way he embarrassed her and treated her as of late. He was beginning to tear up as well as all this was said, and he meant it with all his heart. The only problem was that the ovation from all those there who saw the dance drowned out every word he spoke to her. She heard and understood nothing he said. He looked into her eyes for one last time and spoke three words he had been dying to say to this girl for a long time. And those three words were "I love you. " He turned and began to walk away as the tears flowed freely down his cheeks. I looked to her and saw her mouth the exact same words back to him. But neither heard a word as the crowd continued to cheer for the couple as they walked their seperate ways. "
